His most recent feature FIRST TIME CALLER, was released in 2024. Based on an acclaimed podcast from Gideon Media, the film was hailed by The New York Times as “Dynamic, Effective and Exemplary” and genre icon Mike Flannagan raved that it’s an “Excellent Indie Thriller - impressive and amazingly Kinetic.” FIRST TIME CALLER is currently available on Amazon Prime and Tubi.
In 2018 Strangers on the Earth, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival and received wide critical acclaim, was released theatrically and extended for several weeks at NYC’s famed Cinema Village. The feature documentary also played at Chicago’s Siskel Film Center and Laemmle’s Music Hall where the LA Times called it “Beautifully shot and largely inspiring.”
Patrick has also generated commercial content for many well known brands including Google, Spotify, and NatGeo.

Strangers on the Earth (dir. Tristan Cook) is a documentary that profiles American cellist Dane Johansen on a musical and spiritual pilgrimage across Spain’s Camino de Santiago.

a Santa Barbara based production company.
For nearly a decade, CINEDATA has been working with Google to document the research and culture at their Quantum Labs in California. Patrick and director JD Brynn, along with Dr. Erik Lucero and his team, continue to chronicle the human stories within this powerful science.
